At Environmental Contracting Corporation (ECC), we are committed to building a sustainable future for our communities in Los Angeles and beyond. We believe in leaving our communities better than we found them, and this commitment is reflected in every aspect of our operations.
We are proud to report that we divert over 85% of job site trash from landfills through rigorous recycling and waste management practices. Additionally, we prioritize paper reduction firm-wide whenever possible, implementing digital solutions to minimize our environmental footprint.
Furthermore, we actively seek out subcontractors who share our commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. By partnering with subcontractors with ESG strategies in place, we ensure that our projects are not only environmentally responsible but also contribute positively to the communities we serve.

We are committed to supporting the communities we serve. Giving back is an essential element of our culture. Our founder, Aram Arakelian, co-founded the IIDA Student Fund to ensure a lasting endowment exists to provide opportunity to local design students to realize their dreams. Additional organizations that ECC supports include USC Architectural Guild, Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration, Peace Over Violence, Autism Speaks of Southern California, The Laurel Foundation, IIDA Southern California, Vista del Mar Family Services, New Horizons, LA Mission, Fisher House, Junior Achievement of Southern California, as well as many others.
