CHICAGO SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOLOGY
Los Angeles, CA
40,000 sf
Architect: HLW
With over 5,600 students in campuses across the country, the Chicago School of Professional Psychology required a new DTLA campus to serve working adults pursuing degrees and certifications in their innovative psychology programs. As a result, the Los Angeles campus relocated to 707 Wilshire Blvd. in the heart of downtown LA.
Designed by HLW, the campus sits on two full floors and connects by an interconnecting stair that also serves as collaborative stadium student seating. The campus includes several classrooms with a/v capabilities, collaborative meeting areas, library, and student lounge.
Working diligently to meet class schedule requirements, ECC delivered the space within schedule, working off hours to accommodate existing building tenants. The resulting space is beautiful, light-filled and functional to serve the Chicago School of Professional Psychology growing student population.
