Jack, as President of ECC, focuses on the firm’s core business strategy and continuing the ECC legacy. Having joined ECC in 1996, Jack brings his passion for design and architecture to every project. His meticulous attention to detail and his proactive management techniques have greatly contributed to ECC’s success. Jack remains actively involved with a limited number of projects while working closely with our project teams to ensure that every project exceeds our clients’ expectations.
Jack attended the USC School of Architecture and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

VP OF OPERATIONS
Ara joined ECC as one of its first employees and excelled as a Superintendent, Project Engineer, and Project Manager before his current role as Vice President of Operations. Ara manages all administrative aspects of ECC’s operations. Due to his relationships with various Building Departments throughout Southern California, he also obtains all project permits. As a LEED AP, Ara implements and manages ECC sustainability and ESG standards through both administrative operations and project execution.
Ara obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and Occupational Safety from California State University in Northridge.

JAMES ARAKELIAN
PROJECT MANAGER
As Project Manager, James’ approach to the construction process focuses on the value of teamwork and collaboration. He encourages openness and transparency between the client, design team, and subcontractors. By meticulously evaluating details, and conducting thorough review of subcontractor bids and submittals at the beginning, James successfully avoids costly change orders and delays during the construction phase.
James joined ECC in 2001 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Cal State Fullerton.

DAVID P. LECKIE, RA

David Leckie brings over 50 years of expertise in architecture, planning, and interior design to ECC. Throughout his career, he has led a wide range of high-impact projects, from small-scale tenant improvements to expansive, multi-building corporate campuses. His portfolio spans diverse sectors, including recording studios, broadcast facilities, data centers, food service and commercial kitchens, healthcare, education, legal offices, tilt-up and low-rise office buildings, adaptive reuse of existing structures, and high-rise developments.
David’s extensive leadership experience across multiple architectural and design firms in the Los Angeles area has earned him a reputation for creative innovation and technical precision. His broad skill set and deep industry knowledge position him as a key leader in ECC’s design-build initiatives.

Garo is an accomplished construction Project Manager with a strong record of producing quality projects. Garo joined ECC in 2012, bringing over 25 years’ experience in architecture and construction as a registered Architect and licensed General Contractor. His deep construction knowledge and attention to detail give him the ability to provide innovative, cost effective solutions for each client, while retaining the integrity of the design, budget and schedule.
Garo obtained a Bachelor of Architecture from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona.

With over 20 years tenant improvement and building renovation experience in Los Angeles, Will joined our team of Project Managers in 2013. As a accomplished construction Project Manager, Will’s attention to detail allows him to provide cost effective quality and state of the art solutions for each client, while maintaining design intent, budget and schedule. His excellent technical skills ensure the highest quality control, while his hands-on management style encourages strong team relationships from day one.
Will earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona.

As Project Manager, Raed has an impressive roster of successful project completions. Having joined ECC in 2015, Raed is well respected for his energy and attention to detail. With a comprehensive construction industry background, Raed brings insight and thoroughness to each project, ensuring our client’s design intent, schedule and budgetary requirements are met or exceeded.
Raed earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management at California State University in Northridge.

As Assistant Project Manager, Shant works on a variety of project types. Shant is an integral part of our project team’s success. His active listening skills coupled with his analytic and thoughtful approach bring fresh insight to all ECC projects.
Shant earned his Master of Urban Planning and Bachelor of Arts in Biology at California State University in Northridge.

With 30 years marketing, sales and business development experience, Kristen brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her Business Development role at ECC. Her ability to identify business opportunities and build strong industry relationships, while simultaneously developing and executing marketing strategies ensure that our project teams and clients are connected and receive the highest level of service throughout each project.
Kristen holds an MBA in Marketing from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and a Bachelor of Science in Management, Human Resources from Park University. She serves on the Board of Directors for Child and Family Guidance Center and New Horizons. She previously served on the Board of Directors for Autism Speaks, Southern California, IIDA Southern California, and MBA Women Los Angeles. Kristen actively contributes her talents to Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration and University of Utah Alumni Association, Los Angeles Chapter.
